Patna | July 29, 2026:-In a significant step towards promoting inclusive community welfare, Littera Public School, in collaboration with Om Kreations and with the support of the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), Government of India, distributed assistive aids to senior citizens during the 11th Aadi Shakti Prem Nath Khanna Samaroh at Patna Museum on Monday.
Under the initiative, six senior citizen beneficiaries received essential mobility and support equipment, including wheelchairs, walking sticks, disabled-friendly toilet chairs, and other assistive devices. The distribution aimed to enhance the beneficiaries’ mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.
The assistive aids were presented by Mrs. Rita Sinha, Director of Om Kreations, and Mrs. Mamta Mehrotra, Principal of Littera Public School. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Ashok Kumar Sinha, Additional Director, Bihar Museum, Mrs. Priya, and Mr. Ashutosh Mehrotra, Director of Littera Public School, who appreciated the collaborative effort towards supporting elderly citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries stressed the importance of ensuring dignity, accessibility, and quality care for senior citizens and persons with mobility challenges. They noted that partnerships between educational institutions, social organisations, and government agencies are essential in creating a more compassionate and inclusive society.
The assistive aid distribution added a meaningful social dimension to the 11th Aadi Shakti Prem Nath Khanna Samaroh, reinforcing the values of empathy, service, and community welfare alongside the cultural celebrations.
